Basilic Notre-Dame

A cocktail inspired by Montreal’s Notre Dame Basilica, with fresh top notes of cucumber and basil, a heart of complex botanicals, and a subtle finish of frankincense.

What you’ll need

  • 1 oz Gin Sauvage
  • 1/2 oz Green Chartreuse
  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup

How to prepare:

In a shaker, muddle the cucumber with the Gin Sauvage, then add other ingredients and shake with ice. Double strain into a chilled glass filled with ice. Express the oils from the lemon peel over the cocktail, then garnish.

Simple Syrup: Bring 250 ml of water to a boil and add 250 ml of white sugar. Stir until sugar is fully dissolved and remove from heat.
